The second-generation Chevy K5 Blazer was known as the 'square-body' generation due to its body design and styling. It continued the full-size SUV status of the first-gen K5 models, which were basically half-cab pickup trucks with removable rear tops. Their styling was a variant of the C/K truck line, with a shortened wheelbase. The second-gen Blazer sold well, with more than half a million units produced during its production years.
