LAND ROVER SERIES II

SERIES II SWB 1958 - 1971

SERIES II LWB 1958 - 1971

ASSEMBLY : Solihull, UK
UNITS PRODUCED : 110,000

PREDECESSOR : Land Rover Series I
SUCCESSOR : Land Rover Series III

The Series II Land Rover closely followed the Series I, with a few stylistic upgrades. The body design was streamlined, and introduced the barrel side body shape and the curved side windows and roof still used today. The Series II was available in 88-inch wheelbase (SWB) and 109-inch wheelbase (LWB) variants. It is almost indistinguishable from the Series IIA, which was sold from 1961-1971.
