The MJ Comanche was a modified XJ Cherokee with a longer wheelbase, a half-cab and a pickup-truck bed. The MJ was offered as a 4-wheel-drive or rear-wheel-drive model, and the cargo bed was offered in 6' or 7' versions. Production of the MJ ceased in 1992 due to low sales numbers and competing models under the Chrysler banner.
