The CJ-4M was a prototype jeep with a civilian and military version. The CJ-4's unique fenders represent a transition between the flat fenders of the CJ-3B and the curved fenders of the CJ-5 Universal. Legend has it the prototype was scrapped, and the only version ever built was sold to a factory employee.
