JEEP FC-170 FORWARD CONTROL
1957 - 1964
ASSEMBLY: Toledo, OH, USA
UNITS PRODUCED: 31,000
The Jeep Forward Control was a cab-over utility truck marketed as a corporate work vehicle. It's futuristic cab design features a 7-slot grille and streamlined curves, reminiscent of a helicopter. The FC was sold in two models: the FC-150 was the standard model, and the FC-170 had a longer wheelbase and bed, while retaining the same cab design. In addition, there were various 'Jeep-Approved' after-market bed variants, such as flatbeds, tow-trucks, dump trucks and others, which greatly increased the FC's utility.
