WILLYS M-606

1953 - 1968

ASSEMBLY: Toledo, OH, USA
UNITS PRODUCED: Unknown

PREDECESSOR : M-38
SUCCESSOR : CJ-4M

The M-606 jeep is the military version of the CJ-3B, built mainly for overseas military aid. Just like the CJ-3B, the M-606 has a high hood to house the Willys Hurricane engine, and its grille features the Willys logo above the slots. Unofortunately, the line is blurred between the M-606 and the CJ-3B because they share serial numbers, and the exact number of M-606’s built is just an estimate.
