The SJ Wagoneer shares a front end with the J-2000 Gladiator, and it succeeded the 473 Willys Jeep Station Wagon. It was the first model to bear the 'Wagoneer' name, which still continues today. It was offered in both 2-door and 4-door configurations, with the 2-door also available as a panel delivery vehicle without rear-side windows.
