The 473 Willys Jeep Station Wagon was the first utility wagon offered by Willys. The 473 was very similar to the 463, with a re-designed front end and grille. The design featured a 10-slot front grille, which was reminiscent of the Willys MB. It has the same front end as the 473 Willys Jeep Truck. It was offered in two body styles: a wagon, with rear side windows, and a van, without rear side windows. The wagon had a standard tailgate, while the van had a double door.
